Who can join?
The BAEA membership comprises mostly those Educational Audiologists working within education support services or schools for hearing-impaired children. However other members come from a wide range of backgrounds and interest in paediatric audiology or hearing-impaired children such as teachers of the deaf, hospital paediatric audiologists, speech therapists, those working in Cochlear Implant centres, and hearing aid manufacturers.
As a member, you will be able to join the email-based discussion forum which is used for asking/answering questions of Educational Audiologists and general discussion across the whole membership
The second privilege is to join a local group. There are four local Educational Audiology Groups - North-West, North-East, Southern and Midlands
Fees are currently £20 but very shortly to go up to £30 per year. Fees must be paid by standing order. Bank details can be obtained from the membership secretary (contact details below).
